There are several routes leaving Calig on bike, starting on quiet minor roads. We combine a short visit to Peñiscola with the first of two MTB tours in the Serra de Irta Natural Park, Spain. We carry water and snacks along with a complete tool kit and emergency first aid kit, snorkels and masks, towels and inner tubes.

Our first day guided Mountain bike tour follows the smugglers coast route to Alcossebre. We return climbing up and skirting the foothills back to Font Nova and Peñiscola. Trail Mountain Biking.

If you are cycling from Barcelona to Valencia you can cross the Serra de Irta natural park as part of your journey. It is perfectly possible on a gravel bike or phat tyres.
